Andrea Torretta began studying music and classical guitar in 1998 at the age of 8, later continuing with modern guitar, improvisation, arrangement, electronics and sound engineering. Thanks to his deep knowledge of music theory and his trained relative pitch, he is able to read, arrange and transcribe complex scores.
In the world of Audio Production, Andrea quickly has been valued as a versatile and passionate producer, capable of listening and giving shape to both the artistic and technical needs of Artists.
He has collaborated with major recording studios in the Genoa (Italy) area, such as Studio Maia (resident Sound Engineer from 2014 to 2021), Lizard Accademie Musicali and Tabasco Recording Studio, developing deep expertise in music production, recording techniques and mixing. As a Sound Engineer he has also toured Italy, Germany, France and Holland.

He regularly holds courses and clinics dedicated to the world of audio.
As a guitarist, he was a member of Meganoidi from 2014 to 2022, one of the leading indie rock bands in Italy. He has performed on Rai1, at Cornetto Freemusic Festival (2009) and Primo Maggio Taranto (2018) (both with audiences of 200,000) and opened for many of the major Italian rock and pop Artists.
He has been an endorser of prestigious gear such as Gibson, Mesa Boogie, Dophix fx, Dogal strings.
In 2025, Andrea Torretta Audio was born—his Company offering Professional Audio services.
